What is Plagiarism?
Many people think of plagiarism as copying another's work, or borrowing someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "borrowing" can disguise the seriousness of the offense:
According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, to "plagiarize" means
to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own to use (another's production) without crediting the source
to commit literary theft
to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud.
It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward.

I agree with you said about plagarism, it is not rigth to do that. I think that we must show honesty in all aspects of our lifes everyday.
We will be teachers and we will have to give values to our students. We will be a model for them I say a positive model so we have to be careful of our acts.
Hello Miss, I read your post about plagarism.Plagarism is a dishonest work. People would not do this, because the works of the other people is been copied, and how you say it is an act of fraud.
I would not like that someone copys or stelas my work.

sometimes we are dishonest with respect works because copies and pastes of web sites to make works easier but is damage for ourselves, I agree with you said about plagarism.

Well it's a complicated topic.
Obviously I agree with you.
A lot of people act in the life with negative actions, they make many errors, forgetting the most important thing that we can have: "The authenticity".
Sincerity and honesty are values that enhance the personality of people, so If we do plagiarism, we won´t be loyal.
we need to act with the truth in the life, for that reason everything will be ok.

Miss I never commit plagiarism that is something that miss Inès Hortal teach me how to made quotations.
I think that we many times copy everything that we need, and we don't realize about it.
I don't know if I did plagiarism, but I know that I copy some things from the internet and I only put them quotation marks.

I thought that "borrowing ideas or changing the content of an author" was not plagiarism, but I was wrong, so I have to be careful with that, especially for the next year when I will work on my seminar.

hi miss, I think commit plagarism is really bad, It is a bad way to do something ,is like to cheat, but sometimes I don't know if I'm doing that, so now I'm going to pay more atention if I'm doing or not.

Plagarism it is an imitation of something... it is dishonest and offense other people^s works and thoughts...

hi miss: I read the plagiarism article and I think that it is not correct. It is a difficult topic because when I have a homework, I have "the idea" for writing but I don't have "the order" so how in internet is every clear, I read and some times I have copied, but I don't do with evilness...
Wow!! This is really serious. Therefore I have always tried to use my own ideas. I have heard tha Ellen White was accused of plagiarism, but the fact is thst plagiarism was not consider a crime in those years but just a suport for a writer. I Think this is fare for all people that wants to perserve his own ideas.
Sorry!! I think that you included this today because many of our works had some citations or phrases as the same the authors published it...
Sometimes I make some mistakes with my works, and I was confused about to use people`s works without a citation.
I will change that!

well I think that there is no doubt about what you said. plagarism is not goog for us. we lie ourseves when we copy.
Well miss... plagiarims is a bAD WAY OF GETTING SOMETHING...
But I think a teacher has to give the chance to correct that mistake...
The honesty is very important... we shouldn't lose that... (the honesty)

though I cannot deny that sometimes we plagarise by ignorance or lack of information...
